The wellbeing of people participating with the Inquiry is extremely important to the Chair and the Inquiry team. The Inquiry funds an independent emotional support service, for those affected by our work. For the past few years, this has been provided by the British Red Cross (BRC), but it will shortly be moving to a new independent provider. Details for the new independent emotional support provider will be shared shortly.
The BRC will remain our emotional support provider until 31 August 2024. During the September hearings, there will be specialist emotional support for those attending which will be offered through independent counsellors, who will be overseen by the Inquiry.
The Inquiry has also appointed a Chief Psychologist to the Inquiry. They will be responsible for overseeing the Inquiry’s emotional support service and advising the team on key issues.
Please contact the Inquiry team if you have any questions about the change to support at contact@lampardinquiry.org.uk.
