This page presents an overview of all public hearings convened as part of the Lampard inquiry. It includes details of upcoming sessions, records of previous proceedings, and information on current a hearing in progress. The content is regularly updated.

The Inquiry is holding pre-recorded evidence sessions for a number of bereaved families who provided written statements to the Inquiry before the end of March 2026.  These sessions will take place between 20 April and 7 May 2026.

Please note: The Pre-Recorded Evidence sessions are private and not available to the public at this time.

Future Hearings

Any changes to future hearings will be communicated in good time.

6 July – 23 July  

  • EPUT Engagement and Compliance Issues – Examination of issues relating to EPUT’s engagement with the Inquiry.
  • Further Evidence from Bereaved Families – The Chair remains open to hearing further bereaved family evidence where it will assist the Inquiry’s work, and has invited three families to give oral evidence.
  • Evidence from Staff who either worked or work at EPUT, including its predecessor organisations, addressing their experiences of working within these services.
  • Introduction to issues around Resuscitation
  • Evidence (including expert evidence) in relation to Observations and Use of Technology
