On 17 July 2024, the Inquiry has published the following updates:

Draft List of Issues

Ahead of the Opening Statements in September, the Inquiry has prepared a draft List of Issues.  This document is intended to guide the Inquiry’s investigations and enable it to effectively meet its Terms of Reference. The List of Issues will remain a live document and will be revised throughout the course of the Inquiry.

A draft of this document is available here for people to read and consider.

We welcome views on any areas which are not covered within our draft List of Issues and which you consider should be included in line with our Terms of Reference.  Please note that the Inquiry is only able to investigate matters within its Terms of Reference and the List of Issues cannot include issues that are outside the Inquiry’s scope.

We welcome any comments by 31 July 2024, which will allow the Inquiry to publish a revised List of Issues ahead of the public hearings in September.  Please send any comments you have on the draft List of Issues, up to a maximum of 4 pages, to contact@lampardinquiry.org.uk. Alternative ways to contact the Inquiry can be found on our contact page.

Update on Core Participants

The Lampard Inquiry received over 100 applications for Core Participant status in the initial window for applications, which ran from 22 April to 20 May 2024.  All applicants should have now received the outcome of their application.

A statement of approach relating to Core Participants has been published here.

The Inquiry has also published a list of Core Participants who are organisations (rather than individuals) here

A complete list of all Core Participants, except those who have been given permission by the Chair to remain anonymous (via a Restriction Order), will be made available on our website in due course.
