Today, senior members of the Lampard Inquiry team met with family Core Participants to discuss questions and queries regarding the progress of the Inquiry so far and its future plans. The meeting was held at the Civic Centre in Chelmsford.
The matters discussed in the meeting are subject to the confidentiality agreements that are in place. A summary of the discussion will be circulated to all Core Participants who have signed a confidentiality agreement.
However, some of the themes discussed included the Inquiry’s investigative processes, upcoming hearings, the Inquiry’s purpose and progress, and the media profile of the Inquiry, as well as engagement between the Inquiry and Core Participants in the future.
This meeting is one of a number of ways that Core Participants are able to ask questions of the Inquiry.
The Inquiry will now be working on arrangements for the next meeting with family Core Participants, which will be held virtually.
