The wellbeing of people participating with the Inquiry is extremely important to the Chair and the Inquiry team. The Inquiry has contracted Hestia to provide emotional support to those engaging with us. This service is overseen by the Chief Psychologist to the Inquiry.
Hestia’s support includes allowing a space for those engaging with us to:
- Discuss any concerns and feelings related to the Inquiry in a safe manner.
- Jointly develop personal strategies to help maintain their wellbeing as they engage with the Inquiry.
Hestia may also share a range of effective techniques and skills for managing difficult emotions and memories.
