The Inquiry has invited a number of bereaved families who provided written statements to the Inquiry before the end of March 2026 to take part in recorded evidence sessions. These sessions will take place during the period that had previously been allocated for a hearing, between 20 April and 7 May 2026.
These will be the final recorded evidence sessions for bereaved families.
While the Inquiry remains willing to receive further written statements from bereaved families, it does not intend to hold any additional recorded evidence sessions, except in exceptional circumstances.
Following Easter, the Chair will review all evidence received from bereaved families, including written statements and recorded evidence. The Chair will then consider whether to invite any further evidence from families, either at a hearing or through other appropriate means.
