The Inquiry will hold a private evidence session on Wednesday 14 May 2025 with a representative of Stop Oxevision, Mx Hat Porter.
This follows a decision announced by the Inquiry Chair, Baroness Lampard and Counsel, Nick Griffin KC to postpone evidence related to Oxevision after receiving a late witness statement from Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), which the Inquiry considered significant. The announcement was made on Day 18 of the April 2025 Hearings.
In some cases, private sessions are the most suitable format for the Inquiry to receive evidence. To ensure all evidence is heard fairly, and given Mx Porter had prepared to give evidence, it was agreed that their session would be heard in private. The evidence session will be recorded and is expected to be made public in due course.
The Inquiry is aware that when Mr Griffin KC announced that evidence related to Oxevision would be postponed, there was a technical issue with the feed from the hearing room. The full announcement (transcript and livestream) is now available on the Inquiry website.
